Hometown: Fort Wayne, IN
I have called St. Louis home since settling here in 2018. Before then, I had job hopped across 13 States, taking on positions at all levels of government in the fields of conservation, wildland firefighting, and disaster response. Each position came with its own set of challenges and opportunities that pushed me to learn new skills and grow as a person. As a result, I have become a jack of all trades and master of none. If there is a problem, I am confidant I can figure out a way to solve it!
In 2024, my wife and I celebrated the birth of our daughter, Juni Rae Rood. In our eyes, she is truly a miracle. I love being a Dad and enjoy seeing her grow and explore her new world. Between running a business and my family responsibilities, there is little time for other things. But when I have the opportunity, I enjoy DIY home projects, traveling with my family, hunting, and hiking.

I have lived in South City since 2018 and am proud to call St. Louis my home. My wife and I are both musicians and met playing a show together in 2019. We got married in 2022 at our favorite music venue in the city, Off Broadway. We enjoy traveling, tending to our garden, and sitting on the couch.
I met Mike around the time he formed Squeegee Clean while we were working together at Garden Heights Nursery. Being that we have the same tall, lanky builds, and a similar work ethic and business philosophy, it only made sense to partner up.
I can’t say I ever imagined I would be working in this field, but have really found a love and passion for my work. I tend to be a perfectionist and it is a very satisfying experience making homes and businesses sparkle and look new again!
